What did we do to deserve these amazing videos!

These past days have been full of interesting and very creative music videos. In this post, you'll find ten of them, that I considered as the best ten from the past weeks. Find the new from the newest by Kimbra, Justin Timberlake, The Neighbourhood, Krewella and more!

Kimbra - Human
The New Zealand singer Kimbra has been releasing new songs and music videos, which serve as promotion for her upcoming album "Primal Heart" that will be available on April 20th, 2018. She has published a new music video for the single "Human", that follows the same music style than the previous songs. In the music video we can see two Kimbras, what makes me think that the meaning of the video is about selflove, because of the lyrics that talks about self consciousness.

Justin Timberlake - Supplies
The second single by Justin Timberlake "Supplies" has been released with its music video and it has great visuals. This new song has a weird beat, but at the same time is cool and it's so Justin, I mean, I can't imagine someby else singing this because it's his style. As I already said, the video is very entertaining and I think that it reflects (a little bit) the meaning of the song, which is a love song and he is mainly saying that he is all that she needs.

Tinashe - No Drama (feat. Offset)
"No Drama" is the newest single by Tinashe and this song and video is pure fire! I really love her music style and this new song is very catchy and fun; however, I noticed that the beat is very dark even when the song is about having a great day without drama. The video is so her style and I really like the chorography, by the way,  she looks pretty sexy. Tinashe is pretty talented and I hope that this new song could give her the attention that she deserves.

Maroon 5 - Wait
This upbeat pop song by Maroon 5 titled "Wait" is their newest single taken from their latest album "RED PILL BLUES”. In the song, he is asking for an apologize and it's a cool song. Talking about the video, he is using all the filters from Snapchat or Insta and even when I don't like it, I think that it's a way to explain that he is using the media to apologize and hoping for his girl to watch it.

Fall Out Boy - Church
This song comes in their latest album and it's one of those epic love songs that I love. In the case of the video for this song, I can say that (finally) thay make a not-that-weird- video that actually reflects the meaning of the song. They always release weird videos that at the end don't reflect what the songs are about, but this is not the case.

Jax Jones - Breathe (feat. Ina Wroldsen)
As all we know, Jax Jones is a hit maker and "Breathe" featuring Ina Wroldsen is a bop! In the case of the song, every thing is perfect, the beat, the lyrics, Ina's voice, every thing. Now, the music video is entertaining and all the stuff, but it could have been better, I mean, the song is amazing and the video is just good.

Rudimental - These Days (feat. Jess Glynne, Macklemore & Dan Caplen)
Rudimental is that kind of group that always make beautiful songs, always! And this new one called "These Days" featuring Jess Glynne, Macklemore and Dan Caplen is an amazing collaboration. This song is very emotional and I'm pretty sure that it may make you cry, because it talks about hoping to see again in the future to that one special person (at that time), that took a different path. The video is reflecting the meaning of the song and that's why I think that it's a great video.

Justin Timberlake - Say Something (feat. Chris Stapleton)
Justin has released another music video for a new song titled "Say Something", featuring Chris Stapleton. I really liked this song because of its vibe; however, something that we have to know is that, the version from the video may be different of the studio version. Why? Because the video is like a live version of the song and you know, when artists do that, they tend to change it something.

The Neighbourhood - Hard to imagine
Our favorite band has published a great music video for four songs! As you may know (I wrote it in their EP review), their two last EPs are connected, so in this music video you can enjoy two songs from the "Hard" EP:  "You Get Me So High" and "Sadderdaze"; and two from "To Imagine" EP: "Scary Love" and "Stuck with Me". I liked how the video was edited and well, I love their music style, so for me this is amazing.

Krewella & Yellow Claw - New World (feat. Vava)
These two together are an electronic bomb! Krewella and Yellow Claw are two amazing electronic duos and "New World" is a banger! It has like a Japanese vibe and the video is pretty cool and mysterious.

Tell me guys, what was your favorite music video? If I had to choose my favorite one from this list, I would choose "Hard To Imagine" by The NBHD. Please leave a comment and/or share this blog. Tinashe is darker than never in Nightride

Mixtape cover
The American singer and songwriter Tinashe has released a new mixtape on November 4th, 2016. It has 15 tracks and it is the first part of her upcoming album. As you know, she was going to release a new album called Joyride that hasn't released yet and according to her: "Joyride reflects an pop, happy and light side of her career, while Nightride is the dark, urban & moody album."
Nightride can also be considered as a digital album and/or a mixtape, but not like a "real" album.

The lead single from Nightride was the song Company, which was released on September 16th, 2016, followed by Sacrifices. However, we will also find two tracks that she had released a few months ago: Ride of Your Life and Party Favors (the album version doesn't feature rapper Young Thug).

I been listening to some tracks from it and sounded pretty good, the tracks have that slow beat that reminded me to her debut album Aquarius (2014), which is it pure alternative R&B. Nightride is great mixtape, where you will hear her sexiness and her beautiful sweet voice. Iif you liked Aquarius, you will love this new mixtape. Furthermore, you can buy it on iTunes and listen it on Spotify and in her official Youtube account.

Tracklist:

1. Lucid Dreaming
2. C'est La Vie
3. Sunburn
4. Binaural Test
5. Sacrifices
6. Company
7. Soul Glitch
8. You Don't Know Me
9. Spacetime
10. High Speed Chase
11. Ride of Your Life
12. Party Favors
13. You Can Stay Here Tonight
14. Touch Pass
15. Ghetto Boy

The Weeknd's death & Far East Movement's Identity

The Weeknd - False Alarm
After releasing the lead single from The Weeknd's upcoming album Starboy, he released False Alarm as the second single from this new era.
This new song is great, I like its message and it's very catchy. Also, it shows that The Weeknd's upcoming album will have different music genres, so it will be nice. Now, talking about the music video, at first I didn't understand what it has to be with the message of the song. However, at the end the girl stole the money, so she was the girl that The Weeknd's was singing about. I really liked it.

"Six inch long, 'bout three inch wide (she loves)
Dolla, dolla bill is her only type (she loves)
You love her but you'll never be (she loves)
The one, the one"

Far East Movement & Marshmello - Freal Luv (ft. Chanyeol & Tinashe)
The American hip hop-EDM group Far East Movement in collaboration with the "new" DJ Marshmello, they have published the music video for FEM's new single Freal Luv, featuring the South Korean singer Chanyeol and Tinashe. The song is taken from FEM's upcoming album called Identity.
I have to say that I'm a big fan of Far East Movement's music, so this song sounds great for me. I think they are pretty talented and they have an amazing music style. Freal Luv has a danceable beat and the music video was very entertaining, even when it doesn't have like too much to show, but it's very dynamic.

"I'm all yours, when you really wanna take me there
Don't let me go nowhere
I'd give it all up for you, I swear
Only for real love"

My favorite music video was...

I think both music videos are great, because both are well made and are very entertaining. However, my favorite one was Far East Movement's video for Freal Luv.

R&B, Rock & Electronic music! The best is...

Tinashe - Superlove
Finally! Tinashe has returned with more new music, this time "Superlove" is the name of her newest single. As all you know, Tinashe is going to release her second studio album "Joyride" this year (I hope so). Well, this new song is anuptempo R&B and Hip-Hop crossover, that sounds pretty different from her music, so I'm pretty sure that her new album will have a variety of different sounds and rhythms. I read some comment about "Superlove" and it has comments for and against, personally, I liked it, yes it's different, but I like it.

"I'm sophisticated, super classy, Uncle Luke, freak, nasty
I'm tryna make you my baby daddy
Got me bouncing on it, I'm acrobatic
You got me riding on that, riding on that, grinding up in this bitch"

Young the Giant - Jungle Youth
This amazing alternative rock band keeps releasing new songs from their upcoming third studio album "Home of the Strange". I really like their music style and this song is powerful. I have to say this song reminded me slightly to Imagine Dragons style, but just a little. However, its message is great.

"I woke in a fever taste the blood in my mouth
My eyes grew shiny purple and I'm riddled with doubt
It feels so peculiar, boiling hot in my soul
Farewell transmission: not made for this world"

Justice - Safe And Sound
The French Grammy-award winning electronic music duo Justice, have released a new track after five years of "resting". "Safe And Sound" is the name of this new  nu-disco song, it has a 80s vibe because of the violins and bass, it has short line of lyrics that are repeated several times. This is the first song that I heard from these French and I liked it, even when this song reminded me to Daft Punk's style.

"Man up
Hold tight
Driving dark
Head up
Foot down
Speed of sound
Time's up
Kick start
Keep on track
Flags out
Sit back
Safe and sound"

My favorite song is...

I know that the three songs are very different to each other, because are three different music genres. However, my favorite song is "Safe and Sound" by Justice. It's the first song that I hear from this duo and I think that I will be waiting for their upcoming third studeio album.
