Choose: Heaven or hell / Two great videos

Panic! At The Disco - LA Devotee
LA Devotee is the fourth single off by Panic! At The Disco, taken from their latest album Death of a Bachelor. The band has published the music video today and it's pretty satanic! Well, at leats it looks like one satanic video. The lyrics gives reference to "The black magic of Mulholland Drive" and "Sunsets on the evil eye", so maybe the video is like it is, because of those phrases. However, I'm not pretty sure if I like it or not, but the song is great.

"Sunsets on the evil eye
Invisible to the Hollywood shrine
Always on the hunt for a little more time
Just another LA Devotee"

Kings Of Leon - WALLS
Taken from their upcoming album Walls, Kings of Leon have published the music video for the song that gives the album title Walls. The music video is very simple, but the song isn't. Walls is a beautiful and sad ballad, that will make you getting goosebumps. It is truly a beautiful song.

"I could never point you out
Waste of space in a faceless crowd
Tell me what I have to say
If you know what’s right then you’ll walk away"

My favorite video was...

I'm not pretty sure of my answer, but I will choose Panic! At The Disco's newest video, but don't ask me why...because I don't know.

But what about you guys? What was your favorite video? Did you liked Panic's video? Do you think they are satanists? Leave a comment here and follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog).

You Should Listen to... NAO

Today is wednesday, so is day of "You Should Listen to..." and I decided to choose one of my new favorite singer, her name is NAO.

Neo Jessica Joshua, better known as NAO, is a British singer-songwriter from East London.

About her music:
Genres: electronic music, funk and R&B.

Discography:
For All We Know (debut album released in 2016).

Her most famous songs: "Bad Blood" and "Girlfriend".

The first time that I saw her name, was in the song "Superego", taken from Disclosure's second album "Caracal" and I really loved her voice. However, I few months ago, I decided to look more info about her and was when I heard "Bad Blood" one of her first songs that she released this year and when I heard her unique music style, I fell in love with her. But I wanted to listen more of her music, so I heard one of her EPs called "February 15" and she stole my heart.

Talking more about her music style, Nao sounds pretty original and even when her tone of voice is reminds me to Aluna's voice (from AlunaGeorge) Nao plays with her voice in a way that she can sing in different ways, I mean, from soft voice she becomes it in a deeper voice, like in "Bad Blood". Also, her songs have beautiful mesages and, in general, she sings about love and heartbreaks. Actually, one of my favorite songs from her debut album is "In the Morning", which is about a breakup and the song is so ecstatic and the way in which she sings the song, makes you feel her pain, it's amazing!

However, if you want to dance, she also have tracks with a danceable funky beat, such as: "Happy", "We Don't Give A", "Fool to Love" and "Get to Know Ya". Also, her debut album released on July 29th, 2016, received an average score of 82% based on 14 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". So now you know, if you really want to listen to a great music, Nao's debut album is the indicated for you.

For this and much more you should listen to NAO's music.

Read here the album review of her debut album

Tell me guys, do you already knew  about NAO? What's your favorite NAO's song? (If you know her) Write all your comments and follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog) and visit me daily for more new posts. Also share it with friends and more people.

5 Women VS. 4 Men / Watch these great music videos

Shawn Mendes - Mercy
"Mercy” is the third single from his upcoming second studio album "Illuminate". This pop ballad has a great message, it's about a heartbreak, but I think that rhythmically this song sounds pretty similar to "Treat You Better" and I have to say that I don't like when the songs sound similar, because it's kind of boring. On the other hand, I liked the music video, I think that I understood what he tried to explain us.

"Would you please have mercy on me?
I'm a puppet on your string
And even though you got good intentions
I need you to set me free"

Austin Mahone - Way Up
As all we know, Austin Mahone has been working in new music, thus he released two new song, one of them is "Way Up", for that reason he has decided to publish a lyric video that you can watch now. It sounds like an R&B song and I like the melodie of the song, I think it has nice style. Talking about the lyric video, we can noticed (again), that Austin isn't a little boy anymore, it's a hot lyric video.

"She a bad girl, she slim in the waist
She get what she want cause she pretty in the face
Takin' out her phone and she posin' for the picture
Filter out the things she ain't feelin' in the mirror"

Tom Odell - Here I Am
The English singer-songwriter Tom Odell has published a new music video, this time for the song "Here I Am", taken from his latest album "Wrong Crowd". This is an amazing song, I really loved it, actually the whole album is a masterpiece. The message of the song is so powerful and the music video is perfect for it.

"I walk past your tower block
Saw a flick in the blinds
I said tonight will be different
And that I won't come back"

Fifth Harmony - That's My Girl
The music video for the empowering female anthem "That's My Girl" by Fifth Harmony is pure fire. The song has a great message dedicated to those hard working girls and the beat is pretty cool. However, it reminded me to one of her old songs. Talking about the music video, I think that it's pretty cool, but I'm not sure if it really reflects the message of the lyrics.

"You've been down before
You've been hurt before
You got up before
You'll be good to go, good to go"

Calvin Harris - My Way
"My Way" is the latest single by Calvin Harris, so he published the lyric video. The song is about getting away from something, likely a relationship. The song has a tropical house beat and Calvin is the singer of the song. Calvin Harris explained that the song is about: “breaking out of a situation that you thought was a good thing. Then, you’re way more comfortable out of it.” Somethings is telling me that he's talking about... Taylor Liar Swift? I'm Jus' Sayingg okay.

"Why wait to say, at least I did it my way
Lie awake, two faced
But in my heart I understand
I made my move and it was all about you"

My favorite music video was...

I think that from this list, the best music video is "Here I Am" by Tom Odell. Even when it is kind of "simple" or "repetitive", it matches perfectly the meaning of this amazing song.

What about you guys?! What was your favorite video? Did you liked the newest single by Calvin Harris? Did you already watched Gaga's new video? If didn't, you can watch it here too, just search her name on the list that is on right side of the blog and watch it. Don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog).

Upcoming Album: Shawn Mendes - Illuminate

Album cover
Illuminate is the upcoming second studio album by Canadian singer and songwriter Shawn Mendes. It will be released on September 23rd, 2016. "Illuminate" will be found in two versions, the standard with 12 tracks and the deluxe with three bonus tracks.

The lead single was "Treat You Better", released on June 3rd, 2016, followed by four promotional singles: "Ruin", "Three Empty Words", "Don't Be a Fool" and "Mercy".
Personally, I'm not one of his followers. However, I consider him as a talented songwriter. Talking about the songs that he has been releasing, I think that almost all of them sounds very similar, so I don't think that it will have variety of rhythms.

Tracklist:

1. Ruin
2. Mercy
3. Treat You Better
4. Three Empty Words
5. Don't Be a Fool
6. Like This
7. No Promises
8. Lights On
9. Honest
10. Patience
11. Bad Reputation
12. Understand

Deluxe edition:

13. Hold On
14. Roses
15. Mercy (Acoustic)

I would like to know your opinion about it. What's your favorite song so far? Are you excited for his upcoming album? Do you like Shawn Mendes' music style? Leave a cooment and follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog). Also visit the other posts that you'll find here.

Sand, shorts and rock! Watch Gaga's "Perfect Illusion"

Lady Gaga has finally published the music video for her newest single "Perfect Illusion", taken from her upcoming album "Joanne".

After weeks of waiting for it, Gaga premiered the music video today after the American comedy horror television series "Scream Queens". However, now is out on her official Youtube Vevo. As I told you a few weeks ago, I read an article saying that the music video was recorded in the desert outside LA. Furthermore, in the video we can see Mark Ronson playing the guitar, Kevin Parker playing the drums and BloodPop playing the bass (I guess).

Personally, I really like this new song and I think that this new era will be more rocker, because in the video we can see Gaga rocking this breakup song. I read different opinios about the video, but I think that the people who said it isn't a good video live in the past, because they still want the same Gaga who used to sing "Bad Romance" or "Poker Face". The truth is that only the true artists grow with each album that they release and Lady Gaga is growing. In the video I saw a Gaga enjoying her song, dancing and singing with an enjoyment that made me want to rock too. (PS the final of the video is cool)

But tell me, did you liked this new video? You were waiting something "better"? Are you excited for her upcoming album? Leave a comment and follow me on Twitter and facebook (@JusSayinggBlog). Also, read the last posts and share this blog.

"Where were you 'cause I can't see it
But I feel you watchin' me, baby
Dilated, fallin' free
You were so perfect"

Album Review: Bastille - Wild World

Album cover
Wild World is the second studio album by British indie pop band Bastille, released on September 9th, 2016. This album has two versions, the standard with 14 tracks and the "complete edition" with five more tracks.

The first song that I heard by this band was "Pompeii", taken from their debut album. I remember that when I heard it, their original sound made me listen more of their music. When I heard "Bad Blood" (their debut album released in 2013) I found amazing songs with great messages, but the best part was that I discovered a band with original and fresh music style.
When Bastille released "Good Grief", the lead single from "Wild World" I knew that their newest album was going to be perfect.

I have heard the "complete edition" of the album and believe me, even when it took me one hour and six minutes listening the album, I never got bored or "tired" of listening it, because the album is full of different rhythms and melodies. Other thing very cool about the album is that, there several songs have samples of films that according to Dan, it helped to give a "texture" to the album:
“Yeah, it’s a big mix from films, old documentaries, found footage, stuff we recorded ourselves. We’ve actually had to re-record quotes from films because of clearance issues. It’s such a nightmare!…" Dan said in an interview.
Let's start talking about some of the tracks and its message. The album opens with "Good Grief", which was described by Dan Smith as: “a song about loss, but the ups and downs of it and those moments of euphoria you get.” It has an explosive rhythm and it's pretty melodious.
If I had to choose one song to describe the album, I would choose "Warmth", because what I understood is that, it's better to have a loved person by our side, to help us to distract us from all the bad news that happen in our world and it also describes better the concept of the album. However, my favorite song was "Power", it has an amazing message and I love how the guitar sounds, it also is very catchy.

"Power, power
I will never understand the power you're holding over me
Power, power
Oh you had it too long, yes you had it too long"

But if you want to hear some good ballads, there are some of them that you will like, such as: "Two Evils", "Winter of Our Youth", "Oil On Water" and "Four Walls (The Ballad of Perry Smith)", this last one has an interesting story behind. According to Bastille it is also “the most depressing song on the album”, because it was inspired by Perry Smith, he was ex-convict convicted and executed in for a 1959 in Kansas. On the other hand, "An Act of Kindness" was described by Dan Smith as "the most positive" song, because it talks about "how people can do amazing things in sad situations."

It would take me more lines to explain all the songs, so I will tell you what are the other most relevants tracks on "Wild World": "The Currents", "Send Them Off!", "Lethargy", "Campus" and "Way Beyond" that has a suprising rhythm, but I love its message, it talks about the impact of the media in us and it is also like the most different song, talking about its rhythm.

So after reading this album review, you shouldn't waste more time and listen to "Wild World". It's one of my favorite albums of this year and I'm pretty sure you will love it too!

Bastille - Wild World: ★★★★★

Now it's your turn to write your comment about it. Did you liked this album? What was your favorite song? Don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog) and to visit the other posts.

Album Review: M.I.A. - AIM

Album cover
AIM is the fifth studio album by English recording artist M.I.A, released on September 9th, 2016. M.I.A. said that it would be her final album, so I hope you have the opportunity of hear it, because there won't be a "next album". "AIM" has two versions, the standard with 12 and the deluxe with 17 tracks, it also features collaborations with  Blaqstarr, Diplo and Skrillex.

Her penultimate album "Matangi", was released in 2013 and I remember that when I heard it I was like "What's this sh#t?!", in those times I didn't know how her music style was like. However, with the the pass of the weeks listening the album, I liked her music. Now, I have heard "AIM" and I can tell you that she keeps her same music style, but she has explored new sounds and beats. According to some music critics, they say that "AIM" has lack of focus, maybe because she talks about several issues, such as: inequality, peace, migration, etc. I have to say that "AIM" is not a bad album, but "Matangi" was way better.

Let's talk about some tracks. "Borders" is the first track off and as you know, it talks about migration and she tries to make us reflect about different issues like: politics, police shots, boat people, etc. I like the beat of this song and when I saw the video, I understood what she wanted to tell us. The first track is followed by "Go Off", that according with Maya (M.I.A.'s name), " it was the first song that came together for the album", and the song gives references to the bombings. Other good song is "Freedun", featuring ZAYN, where she talks about her as artists and other issues. Maya also said "I didn’t put it on that (Matangi) cos it felt too pop and I wasn’t ready to make that record. Matangi was like a lot weirder, so it didn’t fit the record and I kept it. […] But it really fits perfectly on this one."

As all we know, M.I.A. has Indian roots and she always reflects it in her music, that is why there a several songs that have a strong Indu vibe, such as: "Jump In", "A.M.P (All My People)", "Ali R U OK?" and "Visa", where she talks about borders and immigrations:

"At the border I see the patroller cruising past in their car
Creeping in my socks and slipper
Mexicans say "hola!"
At the border I see the patroller cruising past in their car
Hiding in my Toyota Corolla, everybody say "Y.A.L.A.!""

"Foreign Friend", featuring Dexta Daps is my favorite song, I like its message of friendship and its dark beat. Talking about "dark" beats "Foreign Friend" is not the only song with that style, because "The New International Sound Pt. 2" (featuring GENER8ION) and "Platforms" have that kind of rhythm. However, if you want to dance there are a few tracks that are great to turn on the party, such as: "Finally", "Bird Song" (Diplo version), "Swords" and "Talk" are the most danceable tracks.

Finally, M.I.A. has explored new beats without losing her original style and in "AIM", she makes us reflect about different and important issues, such as; migration and the lack of freedom. I liked this new album and even when I was expecting something more "Matangi", we have to understand that with each album, the artists has to change, in order to grow musically and personaly.

M.I.A. - AIM: ★★★★

Now it's your turn to write your comment about it. Do you already heard Maya's album? Did you liked this album? What was your favorite song? Don't forget to follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog) and to visit the other posts.

Get ready for Lady Gaga's upcoming album!

Yeah! Lady Gaga's upcoming fourth solo studio album is closer to us. It will have the title of "Joanne", in tribute to her dead grandmother. We also have to remember that Gaga's real name is Stefani Joanne and she said that her upcoming album was going to be very personal. "Joanne" will be release on October 21st, 2016. She hasn't said nothing about the tracklist, at this moment we only have heard "Perfect Illusion" and we knoe about the collaboration with Florence called "Hey Girl".

Album cover
Talking about the album cover, it is pretty beautiful and she looks so natural and sofisticated. Personally, I wasn't expecting this album cover , you know, that her album covers are always very extravagant nad different. I'm pretty sure that it reflects her newest sound, that maybe will be very different and fresh. Lady Gaga recently said that in this new album, we will heard some collaborations, such as: "Hey Girl", featuring Florence + The Machine (Florence Welch) and Beck. But we're still waiting for "Telephone Pt. 2".

I'm very excited for this new era that is about to start, so get ready for "Joanne" by Lady Gaga.

But tell me guys, what do you think about the album title? Did you liked the album cover? Are you excited for Lady Gaga's upcoming album? Leave all your comments and visit the other posts. Also, follow me on Twitter and Facebook and shere this music blog with your friends.

Better cancer or Cancer better (?)

Meghan Trainor - Better ft. Yo Gotti
Meghan has published a new music video for the song "Better", featuring Yo Gotti. The song is taken from "Thank You", her latest album released the past May. This danceable track is great and the music video reflects the message of the song in a different way, but even it matches perfectly the message.

"I used to cry to all my friends
But they would say, "I told ya"
Finally, I can breathe again
The weight is off my shoulders"

twenty one pilots - Cancer
The American musical duo twenty one pilots are part of "The Black Parade covers CD", released by British magazine "Rock Sound". "Cancer" is the name of one of the songs recorded by American rock band My Chemical Romance and twenty one pilots released the lyric video for their cover.

"Now turn away
'Cause I'm awful just to see
And all my hairs abandoned all my body
All my agony"

My favorite video was...

Of course it has to be Meghan's video, because twenty one pilots did a lyric video and it isn't a music video. "Better" is a great song and its message is powerful. Meghan Trainor is such a talented songrwriter and in the music video she wanted to show us that one song could have many menings, depending of the person that hear it.

Tell me guys. Did you like Meghan's music video? Do you think that twenty one pilots' cover is better than the real version? Write all your comments and follow me on Twitter and Facebook (@JusSayinggBlog).
