Lady Gaga has finally released the lead single from her upcoming fifth album. "Perfect Illusion" was released yesterday at midnight and this new song rocks!
I have to say that the first time that I heard it, I wasn't sure if I liked it or not, but maybe was because it was too late and I was sleepy. However, today in the morning, while I was in the bus direct to my school, I heard it at least 15 times! And now, It's stuck in my head.
Lyrically it is a powerful and sad song, it's perfect. While, personally it sounds like a pop rock song because of the guitar and the beat of the drumbs. This new single is fire and Gaga sounds amazing and honest. Paying attention to the lyrics, I think that she's singing about Taylor Kinney her ex-boyfriend and is kind of sad to me to see, that they relatioship wasn't about love, "it was a perfect illusion".
